Once certified, professionals will have three years validity of their certificates. To be recertified a professional must send an email to: info@aihq.com to petition recertification no later than 90 days grace period past the certificate expiration date (usually three years passed its issue date) and submit supporting documentation of at least 30 contact hours (during the last 3 years) of related approved continuing education (e.g. seminars, courses, lectures, conferences, etc.), an updated CV/Resume, a copy of the old certificate and a check for $200 as fee for recertification. If professionals do not petition AIHQ for recertification within the eligibility period (see above), then they will have to retake the certification exam and potentially the related course and pass it before getting recertified.
